Definitions

• "Platform" means the Campus Formula website, mobile applications, APIs, and all related services.
• "User" / "You" means any individual who registers for or uses the Platform, including students and administrators.
• "Centre" / "Tenant" means the registered tutorial centre, school, or institution that manages a branded subdomain on the Platform.
• "Content" means questions, explanations, images, videos, documents, and any other educational material available on the Platform.
• "Plan" means the subscription tier (Free, Basic, or Premium) associated with your account.

Eligibility & Account Registration

To use the Platform, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
• Register with accurate, current, and complete information (name, email, school, course, exam type).
• Maintain the security of your password and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
• Not create multiple accounts for the purpose of abusing free-tier benefits or circumventing usage limits.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts with false information or suspicious registration patterns.

Description of Service

Campus Formula provides an online exam-preparation environment that includes:

• Practice question banks organised by subject, topic, and difficulty.
• Timed mock examinations simulating real exam conditions.
• Performance analytics, XP-based gamification, and streak tracking.
• Daily refresh questions and personalised study recommendations.
• Resource downloads (notes, past questions) subject to your Plan level.
• Proctored exam modes with webcam monitoring (where enabled by your Centre).

We do not guarantee specific exam scores or admission outcomes. The Platform is a study aid, not a substitute for formal schooling.

Subscription Plans & Payments

4.1 Plan Tiers

• Free: Limited practice attempts, restricted mock exams, basic analytics.
• Basic: Expanded question access, additional mock exams, standard support.
• Premium: Unlimited practice, all mock exams, advanced analytics, priority support, resource downloads.

4.2 Payment & Billing

• Paid Plans are billed in advance on a periodic basis (monthly or annually, as selected).
• Payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant third-party gateways. We do not store full card details.
• All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or at our sole discretion for technical failures attributable to us.
• Failure to pay may result in automatic downgrade to the Free Plan and loss of Premium features.

4.3 Activation Tokens

Your Centre may issue activation tokens to unlock Plans or specific mock exams. Tokens are single-use, non-transferable, and expire on the date specified. Abuse of tokens (sharing, resale, or automated redemption) will result in account suspension.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Platform to cheat on official examinations or violate any academic institution's honour code.
• Share account credentials with others or allow another person to take exams under your identity.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, copy, or systematically download Content using automated scripts, bots, or scrapers.
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any code designed to disrupt the Platform.
• Harass, abuse, or intimidate other users, administrators, or support staff.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any Centre.
• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws.

Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of subscriptions, and legal action where appropriate.

Proctoring & Exam Integrity

For certain mock exams, we employ automated proctoring measures:

• Webcam snapshots may be captured at random intervals and analysed for anomalies.
• Browser lockdown detects tab-switching, minimisation, or use of unauthorised applications.
• IP and device fingerprinting helps detect proxy use or multiple simultaneous sessions.

By enrolling in a proctored exam, you explicitly consent to these monitoring measures. Proctoring data is retained for 30 days and is accessible only to your Centre's authorised administrators and Campus Formula support staff for integrity investigations.

Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

All questions, explanations, images, software, trademarks, and platform design are owned by Campus Formula or licensed to us. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access Content for personal study purposes only.

7.2 Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform Content.
• Remove copyright notices, watermarks, or attribution from any material.
• Use Platform trademarks or branding without written permission.

7.3 User-Generated Content

If you submit feedback, testimonials, or suggested corrections, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, modify, and display such content across our marketing and product channels.

Termination

8.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings or by contacting your Centre administrator. Deletion is permanent and will remove your personal data within 90 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

8.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:

• Breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
• Engage in fraudulent payment activity or token abuse.
• Cause technical harm to the Platform or other users.
• Are inactive for more than 24 months (we will notify you 30 days in advance).

Upon termination, all licences granted to you cease, and you must stop using the Platform. Provisions concerning intellectual property, liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

9.1 Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• Exam results or practice scores will accurately predict official examination performance.
• Any errors in the Content will be corrected.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Campus Formula, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform.

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) the equivalent of one month of your current subscription Plan.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, under the rules of the Lagos Court of Arbitration. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in a court of law for intellectual property violations or unauthorised data access.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date and notified via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
